Too Depressed is aimed at helping those suffering from depression.

We’ll try to help you answer some of the questions you might have regarding depression, like:

  • Am I depressed?
  • Who can help me find out if I am depressed?
  • Can I get tested for depression?
  • What causes depression?
  • Why do I personally have depression?
  • How do I help my depressed husband/wife/child?
  • Is it normal to get fed up once in a while, without being classed as depressed?
  • What kind of help can I get for depression?
  • Do I have to take depression medication?
  • What kinds of treatments for depression are there that don’t involve medication?
  • Does anybody else feel like I do?

That last question is a good one. Depression isn’t new and it’s actually getting more and more common amongst people in developed countries like the USA, the UK and Australia. So, you can probably be pretty sure that there are other people who have felt like you in the past or feel like that right now.

It can be a real boost to know that you’re not alone in what you’re going through, so this site is also a place where we can share our depression stories.

You’ll find that sharing your story will probably give you a boost as well, not only because you’ll be helping others, but also because it can often help you to clarify the way you feel when you put your thoughts down in writing.

You can explore the categories on the right to find your way to the information you need.
